Refund policy
At Shalimar Fashions, customer satisfaction is our top priority. As all our outfits are custom-made upon order, we want to ensure you have a smooth shopping experience. Please read our policy carefully:
Returns & Refunds
- Change-of-Mind: We do not accept returns or provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases, as every outfit is custom-made on order.
- Defective Items: Returns are only accepted in case of a significant manufacturing defect discovered upon delivery. The item must be returned unused, unwashed, and with all original tags intact.
- Refunds: No cash refunds are provided for any reason. If a refund is necessary (i.e., the defective item cannot be exchanged), it will be processed exclusively as a Store Credit Note and the store credit will be valid for 6 months.
Exchanges
- Defective Exchange: If your item is defective, we will process an exchange for a fresh piece of the exact same design and the same will be delivered within 10-15 days.
- Store Credit Compensation: If the same design is unavailable for exchange, you will be compensated with the Store Credit Note mentioned above.
- Other Reasons: We do not offer exchanges for size issues or style preference changes due to the custom nature of our garments.
Order Cancellations
- Orders can only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase and before production has begun. Once the production of your custom outfit has started, cancellation is not possible.

Return Shipping: If your request is approved, you will be required to send the parcel to the address mentioned in our response or pay applicable charges for a return pickup service arranged by us. We require your Order ID and clear photo/video proof of the defect to guide you through the process and provide the necessary instructions.
